IISAAK ECOLODGE

IISAAK (ʔiisaak) is a Nuu-chah-nulth (Nuučaan̓uɫ) teaching, often translated as respect, but more fully meaning ‘to observe, appreciate, and act accordingly.’ We invite you to carry this teaching during your stay and to feel at home in this space of learning and connection.

About the Ecolodge

Situated within the Naa’Waya’Sum Coastal Gardens (a 12-acre property of stunning coastal rainforest!), the the IISAAK Ecolodge is a 12-room guest house and space for connection and learning. The Ecolodge can comfortably host 11 guests in private rooms, or up to 20 guests when rooms are arranged for couples and shared occupancy.

Nestled in paradise, the IISAAK Ecolodge has the feel of a cozy guesthouse with a mix of private and shared facilities. It includes two suites with private washrooms, four rooms with shared “jack and jill” washrooms, and five rooms that use shared washroom facilities. One room is reserved for the lodgekeeper.

Guests have access to the Ecolodge’s large activity room (capacity 35) and dining/lounge area (capacity 30). The lodge is equipped with a commercial kitchen, operated by culinary staff. Simple and affordable meals are available for those interested.

Guests may also enjoy the Naa’Waya’Sum Gardens during daylight hours at no extra cost!
